i think the point that is being missed is that wiccan represented something different to all the young women coming out of the male dominated 80's in cali….wicca took off in the 90's BECAUSE it represented a way to reclaim some power. it was an intuitive way to channel motherhood and girl power and female goddess strength into something that was easily understood…wasn't meant to be politicized or warped baby abuse
