True! You have to be a born again in Holy Spirit believer. THE Light comes only from the Holy Spirit and the only way to get Holy Spirit is through Jesus Christ!
Romans 10:9&10 - get saved!!
The Holy Spirit is the essence of God. You get born again with Holy Spirit AND can and should MANIFEST holy spirit if you are truly a born again believer. Think about it - how would you otherwise know that you know that you know that you are saved? Manifest holy spirit! How? Read I Cor 14 for starters. But really the entire Epistles - instruction in righteousness (right living). It's all there!!
2 Timothy 2:13-16, 19 KJV -
13 If we believe not, [yet] he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
14 Of these things put [them] in remembrance, charging [them] before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, [but] to the subverting of the hearers.
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane [and] vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. …
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

You are missing out since every epistle is written directly to you!!! Check it out for yourself man! I was floored by that! Each and every epistle is written to the born again believer - instruction in righteousness.
If you stop at the Gospel (good news of Jesus Christ) you miss out on all the instruction that follows getting born again. This was not available yet at the time of Christ. That is why it follows the day of Pentecost.
Still, I'm blessed that you are at least reading the Gospels, but don't stop there! The entire word is "God breathed" - theopneustos!!

I know that true knowledge and wisdom comes from God and His word. That is where I get it from. You can gain wisdom and knowledge from God in different ways - including in manifestations. Read His true Word - God Breathed word - and you will see for yourself. Get born again and you will get even more!! :)
