>I'm no expert but the Jews that are your neighbor and you work with and are just regular people are the true ones in my book.

Truth. I've worked w/ my fair share over the years. And count some as colleagues and a few as friends. Funny thing is I've observed the common middle class Jew seems to feel a little guilty about being Jewish, similar to Catholics.

I don't feel guilty about having been raised Catholic, but I left in the late 70's, early 80's with the first little whispers of pedophilia in the priesthood. Thought I'd try Episcopalian, kind of liked that a few years as the masses were familiar, (just love midnight mass on Christmas Eveโ€ฆall those lovely holy songs), but then realized the Episcopalians had been infiltrated w/ homosexual priests and I didn't feel like hearing about their "persecution" from the pulpit. So then I switched to an evangelical church. Liked that, too, spirit-filled, I would say. But then all those bitchy self-righteous women want to start taking everyone else's inventory and deciding what others should do based on what the Lord had "told" them. Now I just read my bible and pray, find God is most present when I'm working in my garden. : )
