>This argument only works on believers, and therefore is not an argument at all.

If you are really interested in discovering whether God exists and is who claims to be and has revealed himself in the Bible, and you are open minded and willing to expand your thinking, then you could try a thought experiment along these lines.

Just suppose, for the sake of argument, there IS a Creator who is non-material - i.e. pure consciousness/spirit.

Suppose that he created the universe and all that is in it, including an humankind, with similar although lesser qualities as his own; the capacity for consciousness, love, appreciation of beauty etc.

Suppose this Creator desired to have a relationship with individual humans. That he loved them and wanted them to reciprocate that love.

Consider who such a Being might go about revealing himself to humans.

Suppose that humans denied and disobeyed their Creator. How could such a being, if he is truly just and must punish evil, rescue them?

What does God becoming a man and living in perfect obedience to the Creator achieve that nothing else could?

And so on and so on.

Then you might want to consider that unless the one whom we call God is our Creator, we have no obligation to him whatsoever. If we are self-created via chance and evolution, we are our own gods and any pretender to that position is necessarily a usurper.

Expand your thinking.

Seek and you will find.

But it's up to you to do the seeking.

God is not far from any of us.

All we have to do is dig…
