Nuke with enough yield to shift rock that deep would be unmistakable, biggest ever set off and would show up at surface on seismo.
Quake clusters are NORMAL after a deep quake, as the upper and surrounding rock shifts into a more stable fault alignment - aftershock is not just the name of a movie.
