We got to be goddamn careful about labeling people either all good or all bad. I think Wictor is right on some things and wrong on many others. But saying he fucks kids because he's wrong on many things is unwise and irresponsible.

Just my worthless opinion.

The bible was originally written in Aramaic and Greek (primarily). Then it was in Latin and other forms hat the people could either read and/or have access to.

King James, whatever his motivations were, tried to make a bible that was readable for the masses. He succeeded.

Translation is always a tricky thing. The more you depart from the original language, the more can be misconstrued, or misinterpreted.

You always have go back to the "trunk of the tree," to refer to the oldest, most reliable texts. For the New Testament, these are:

Codex Sinaiticus (in British Museum in London)

Codex Vaticanus (Vatican Library in Rome)

Codex Alexandrinus (in British Museum in London)

These three oldest texts agree remarkably well.

And these three texts were discovered after King James had "his" bible written.
