no worries

I'm just the ass that archives the notables & Q posts.

Most bakers use good judgement

a few don't seem to give a shit about formatting, spelling and being succinct & accurate with the notables 'teaser / headline'

it's about to be truncated anyway as you say.

I was just making a comment about the lack of editorial rigor re: good links in the notables

ever see the link to a link to a link thing done by a few of the worst bakers?

no need to waste bread dear baker

I archive it nearly verbatim, mistakes and all.

I did see something all bakers should be aware of.

NightBaker uses a method of positive ID that is easy to use and almost fool-proof.

NightBaker has an account with pastebin you can set one up anonymously

and uses it for the dough

This means that even if he doesn't bake for a few months it will still be possible to identify as a baker due to the fact that the dough posted in his bread is from his pastebin account.

For regular bakers who bake often enough that their work hasn't all fallen off the board this is not a worry. For some of us who only bake on rare occasions however… it helps to provprior baking experience.

excellent.

It's not about using a baker's handle

It's about being able to verify a fellow baker when there isn't a BO or BV around to vet the handoff.

I love bakers who are willing to 'sign' their work. It means they want to be held to good journalistic standards.

Anon is great for most things, but would you be comfortable with an airline that used truly anonymous pilots?
