Adenauer had a political rival in Germany - Willy Brandt. How did Adenaur neutralize Brandt? By using the Gehlen group (which was the BND - a foreign intel service funded by the US government for 10 years - staffed by Nazis & soviets) Totally illegal use of the BND.

In 1963 Adenauer sat stone faced with a smiling Kennedy on his visit to Berlin. Willy Brandt is in the car, too. Within months Kennedy was assassinated. Adenauer advised his grandchilden that they should not cry over his death.

IE - George Bush/family. Notably absent, except for Prescott.

George Senior's records seem sanitized in the extreme.
