I think Comey is acting as directed by white hats, not by choice, but with the hope of receiving a life sentence instead of the electric chair.
Think of how easy it will be to shift the narrative and strengthen the red wave by revealing that either (1) DNC/HRC players were involved in the murder of SR, or (2) they were involved in the attempted murder of SR and he has been living in protective custody and will testify as the source regarding the DNC server.
