A major indictment was just unsealed against a House Representative from Califorina's 50th District. Of course, his lawyers are making this political- noting that two of the federal prosecutors attended a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton.
I know that we are doing this impartially- and we are prosecuting the Republicans first so that POTUS is insulated. However, I also asked myself, who is his opponent and is he likely to survive until November without being prosecuted? I am basing this on the article pictured, have not dug any deeper on him.
I would have to say, emphatically- NO he doesn't look like someone who will survive.
Then I looked at the rest of the ballot- and the 3rd candidate, with 12% of the vote looks like he could be a pretty good guy, and also a Republican again.
Same thing goes for the 4th candidate, with 12% of the vote again, running as a Democrat but looks like he could be a pretty good guy.
Are we looking at a write-in matchup here?
