Again, thank you for all your hard work.

I'm having a problem with the twatter settings. Is the Eastern Time that twatter is showing actually EDT? Or, has it been converted to EST, and the GMT relative?

How can we know for sure?

See my problem in graphic form here:

Also, let me know if I need to update the original graphic. Is the Q post 6:15 EST or EDT? For some reason, I was thinking it was EDT because the code was showing GMT-4. What kind of time should we be using to draw the most accurate comparison if we don't have any real UTC?

If you can help me understand what twitter is doing with timestamps, that would be really awesome: >>26804

I think this seems to make the most sense. It would mean, if twatter were somewhat sane, that they are displaying the 7:15pm as EDT and the 11:15pm GMT is the +4.

The initial match stemmed from comparing the ttarchive export as GMT and converting the anonfile minute xls for all Q posts from EST to GMT because the label read specifically, EST.

Perhaps, the label was misleading. It seems that both twatter and Archive4Plebs should be displaying EDT timeโ€ฆ which sets it an hour apart.

According to their FAQ, ttarchive website appears to be converting its displayed tweets to all EST, which may be way we see 6:15pm?

Is that right? Is this why we are so confused.

Should I change the graphic to 6:15pm EDT for Q and 7:15pm EDT for POTUS for a delta [60]

What did Q mean by "Wind the CLOCK?"

The match, whether 60 or 0 seems to be significant, regardless.

Someone should note somewhere, if all this is true, that anyone doing conversions needs to check that anonfile minute xls is not all EST, but simply Eastern Time, a combo of EDT and EST.

Does that make sense?

To be as clear as possible, in the initial comparison, we converted all ttarchive export from GMT to EST, just like what they were doing on their website as outlined in FAQ. 10/28/17 18:15

anonfile Q minute edition was already labeled EST for all posts. 10/28/17 18:15

I think what's so confusing about this, is that whether or not the posts are actually showing EDT irl, the conversions were supposedly made in exactly the same ways for for the same date.

The problem is if anonfile minute edition is showing EST for an actual EDT time.

Is twitter Eastern Time showing EDT for prior posts made during Daylight Savings?

Is Archive4Plebs showing EDT for prior posts made during Daylight Savings?

If the answer to both these questions is yes, then I think the delta is [60].

I just want to make sure this jives with text anons understanding because they have been archiving from the very beginning and may be referencing original material that runs contrary to these assumptions.

Let me know, will update graphic accordingly.

Maybe this helps to solve this >>26804

In any event, this needs to be cleared up, and anyone doing comparisons using anonfile minute edition should be aware that the label should read Eastern Time and not EST, if that is actually the case.
