Can some kind and patient Anon explain to me, how this Cohen thing is not a crime as mentioned by the POTUS tweet?

Tried to find it by digging through the last couple of breads, but did not find it. Found some really interesting digs on Cohen (thanks autists, thanks redhead anon?), but fail to see how it is not a crime when there are sentencing possibilities.
