Thanks for this. My ears also zoned in on use of the word, "candidate." Thought it very odd that Cohen did not name specific candidate. Then MSM flying with the assumption it's Trump. Skimmed a few breads yesterday and saw that an anon had suggested HRC as the "candidate," which resonated with me, but did not catch this New Yorker piece. The thing I wonder about tho, is why would Trump have hired Cohen to begin with? Can't see POTUS being that stupid, unless, for some currently unbeknownst reason, Trump knew he was a traitor and let Cohen cook his own goose, so to speak? The other thing I wonder about is the Trump tower fire where the "art" dealer died. wasn't that the same weekend as the raid on Cohen's office? Or at least in very close timing/proxmity to each other? What connection did these two events have to each other? What did I miss?
