Praying for you, Anon. Was on the big island 2014 near Laupahoehoe when Iselle hit. Funny thing was, as a Sandy survivor, I knew how to prep moreso than the long-term residents I was staying with. Fill every basin, bucket, pot, and your bathtub with water. Gather everything you even think you might need in one spot and put it up high, like top of frig – flashlights, hurricane clothes, food, garbage bags, medicine, etc. Oh, and of course charge your electronics and then don't use them much at all when the power goes out – it could be long time before you get a chance to recharge.
Godspeed.
>One day, we will be your caretakers.
>Let that sink in.
Oh, that has, a long time. This is where muh 2A rights will come in handy.
Oh, set aside a spackle bucket for temporary toilet in case sewers back up.
Overindulged in many ways, neglected in others. Exhibitionists with muh special needs complex.
1961 here. Will be happy to leave this dirty world any time the Lord calls me home; would be nice if I could pay off muh property to leave to my kids so there's nothing to squabble over before then.
