A guilty plea for a non-crime from Michael Cohen and guilty verdict for Paul Manafort on Tuesday created a media firestorm that engulfed President Trump.
On Wednesday, New York State investigators turned the screws on Michael Cohen and issued him a subpoena as part of their criminal investigation into the Trump Foundation.
It is outside of the President’s authority to pardon people for state crimes, which of course is why the NY AG is going after Cohen essentially taking away any leverage from Trump.
None of the charges had anything to do with ‘Russian collusion’ but the Deep State, Dems and their media sycophants ran searing headlines accusing the President of being a ‘co-conspirator’ implicated in a crime.

The EU Disinfo Lab, a Brussels-based non-governmental organization, has kicked off a Cold War-style scandalous smear campaign ahead of the upcoming European Parliament (EP) elections, said Nicolas Bay, an EP member from France and secretary general of Marine Le Pen's right-wing National Rally, formerly known as the National Front.
On August 10, the NGO published a list of names of Twitter users who were actively criticizing French President Emmanuel Macron and his former security aide Alexander Benalla, who assaulted a street protester during a May Day demonstration in Paris. Many of those who found themselves on the list belong to the electorate of Marine Le Pen.
The MEP believes that Disinfo Lab "is closely connected with European institutions, being their partner and, possibly, it is even financed by the European Commission's External Relations department."
"There are 10 months left before the elections to the European Parliament, and the use of such methods by persons acting in some way on behalf of European institutions raises serious concerns about the democratic nature of these debates and the observance of the principle of equality and impartiality within the framework of elections by these structures," Bay told Sputnik France.

Credit Suisse freezes $5bn in Russian money in compliance with US sanctions
One of Switzerland’s largest banks, Credit Suisse has suspended 5.1 billion francs ($5 billion) in assets linked to Russia as a result of Washington’s sanctions against the country.
There is reportedly growing fear among Western banks of reprisals from the US for working with targeted Russian individuals and entities.
The bank froze the funds in the second quarter of 2018, according to Reuters.
In an e-mailed statement to RT, Credit Suisse denied freezing Russian assets, explaining that it has reclassified assets of some Russian clients. The bank said that it works with international regulators wherever it does business to ensure compliance, including sanctions involving Russia.
“Following recent US sanctions and given US regulatory restrictions, Credit Suisse reclassified certain impacted assets from Assets under Management to Assets under Custody,” the statement read.
“This reclassification does not represent a freezing of the assets. In addition, non-sanctioned clients were not affected by the re-classification. Neither did this result in any financial loss or provision.”
Credit Suisse says it remains highly committed to Russia and continues to monitor developments.
The Zurich-based Credit Suisse owned aircraft surrendered by Russian tycoon Oleg Deripaska before the sanctions, and had also lent money to businessman Viktor Vekselberg.
Switzerland has been one of destinations for money leaving Russia. According to data from the Russian central bank, around $6.2 billion, or 14 percent of total Russian cross-border outflows, went to Switzerland in 2017.
Other Swiss banks, including UBS and Julius Baer, told Reuters they also respected international sanctions. The banks, however, declined to say whether they had taken similar asset-freezing operations.
“UBS … implements worldwide at least the sanctions currently imposed by Switzerland, the UN, the EU and the US,” said a spokesman for the bank.
A spokesman for Julius Baer said it “cooperates with international regulators… in the field of sanction regulations.”
The fear among banks stems from facing possible huge penalties from Washington. In 2014, France's BNP Paribas agreed to pay a record $8.9 billion for violating US sanctions against Sudan, Cuba and Iran.

Any doubt on the question of TC goals is answered by David Rockefeller himself, the founder of the TC, in his Memoirs (2003): “Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure—one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”
Patrick Wood, author of Trilaterals Over Washington, points out there are only 87 members of the Trilateral Commission who live in America. Obama appointed eleven of them to posts in his administration.

The following 1978 conversation featured reporter, Jeremiah Novak, and two Trilateral Commission members, Karl Kaiser and Richard Cooper. The interview took up the issue of who exactly, during President Carter’s administration, was formulating US economic and political policy.
The careless and off-hand attitude of Trilateralists Kaiser and Cooper is astonishing. It’s as if they’re saying, “What we’re revealing is already out in the open, it’s too late to do anything about it, why are you so worked up, we’ve already won…”

Peter Schweizer and Seamus Bruner from the Government Accountability Institute explain this an op-ed in the New York Post, detailing the revelations in Bruner’s new book, Compromised: How Money and Politics Drive FBI Corruption.
Schweizer and Bruner write:
Former CIA Director John Brennan’s temper tantrum over the revocation of his security clearance has inadvertently pointed a spotlight at one of the Swamp’s favorite get-rich-quick tricks: the national intelligence contractor hustle.
On Aug. 20, President Trump escalated his attack on Brennan. “Everybody wants to keep their Security Clearance, it’s worth great prestige and big dollars, even board seats, and that is why certain people are coming forward to protect Brennan,” Trump said.
The president’s point is valid: Maintaining access to top-secret or classified information is how former intelligence officials like Brennan, James Clapper, James Comey and others command millions of dollars from the private sector. A security clearance reportedly yields a salary of up to 15 percent higher compared to the salaries of individuals without clearances for the same position.
For the more than 4 million private-sector individuals holding clearances, the secretive private intelligence industry is a massive ecosystem, ripe for concealed cronyism.

Baghdadi Releases 54-Minute Long Audio Message To His Supporters
On August 22, ISIS’ media foundation al-Furqan released a 54-minutes long audio message of the terrorist group leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, in which he calls on his followers around the world to “persevere” and continue fighting against the group’s enemies.
The identity of the speaker in the audio message is yet to be confirmed. However, experts said the at the voice resembled that heard in older messages of al-Baghdadi.
“For the Mujahedeen [holy warriors] the scale of victory or defeat is not dependent on a city or town being stolen or subject to that who has aerial superiority, intercontinental missiles or smart bombs … Oh Caliphate soldiers… trust in God’s promise and His victory… for with hardship comes relief and a way out,” the Reuters news agency quoted the audio message as saying.
In the audio message, the speaker said that “America is going through the worst time in its entire existence” and gave the recent conflict with Turkey over the imprisonment of pastor Andrew Brunson as an example. The speaker went on to say that Russia, Iran and North Korea are no longer tolerating U.S. polices.
The speaker also commented on the recent defeats of opposition fighters in Syria and accused the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), without naming them, of treason. He even called on the remaining fighters of the opposition to join the ranks of ISIS and continue the fight against the Damascus government.
Furthermore, the speaker blessed the “lone wolves in the lands of crusaders in Canada, Europe and elsewhere for their work in supporting their brothers” and called on them to carry out terrorist attack wherever they are.
“A bullet or a stab or a bomb would be worth a thousand operations. And don’t forget to drive into crowds in the streets,” the speaker said, according to CNN.
This is the first audio message of al-Baghdadi in almost a year. The message is clearly aimed at raising the morale of the remaining ISIS fighters and at proving that al-Baghdadi is still alive after the recent rumors about him being “clinically dead.”

Cohen's Holocaust-Survivor Father Urged Him to Expose Trump – Reports
Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s former longstanding legal adviser, appears to have heeded his father’s emotional words.
Maurice Cohen, a Polish Holocaust survivor, urged his son to tell the truth about Trump, saying that he did not survive the Holocaust for Trump to “sully” his family name, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing his now deleted tweet:
“As the son of a Polish holocaust survivor, the images and sounds of this family separation policy [are] heart wrenching,” Michael Cohen said in a since-deleted tweet, before his son spoke to the jury.
Cohen’s remarks in court mark the first time any of Trump’s former associates have implicated the president himself in a possible felony, although the debate is still open whether Trump could legally be subject to prosecution.
On Tuesday, Cohen voiced his guilty plea on eight counts of financial fraud, including campaign finance violations, adding that one payment was “in coordination and at the direction of a candidate for federal office,” and another was made “at the direction of the same candidate.” Though he gave no names, he referred to so-called “hush money” presumably paid during the presidential campaign to silence two women from publicly speaking about Trump’s alleged extramarital affairs.

EU Earmarks $20Mln for Iran in Effort to Offset US Sanctions
The European Union is working hard to salvage the 2015 nuclear agreement with Iran, which the US withdrew from earlier this year, and widen economic relations “in areas that are of direct benefit to our citizens."
The European Union allocated 18 million euros ($20.6 million) in aid for Iran on Thursday, including for the country’s private sector in an effort to lessen the impact of US sanctions and encourage Tehran to stay in the 2015 nuclear agreement aimed at curbing its nuclear program, Reuters reported.
The bailout is part of a 50 million euro ($58 million) aid package that Brussels has set aside for Iran in its budget.
Faced with a US threat to punish foreign companies that refuse to join Washington’s sanctions and continue doing business with Iran, the EU has activated the so-called “blocking statute” and has been taking other measures to meet Tehran’s demand for practical guarantees that its economic ties with Europe will not suffer as a result of the US sanctions.
In a statement on Thursday, the EU’s foreign policy commissioner, Federica Mogherini, said that Brussels remained fully committed to mutually —rewarding cooperation with Iran.
"This new package will widen economic and sectoral relations in areas that are of direct benefit to our citizens," she said.
The EU will spend 8 million euros ($9.2 million) on the Islamic Republic's private sector, including assistance for small and medium-sized enterprises and Iran's Trade Promotion Organization.
A further 8 million euros will go to environmental projects and 2 million euros ($2.3 million) to fighting harm caused by drugs.
On Monday, Iran urged the EU to speed up efforts to salvage the 2015 nuclear deal between Tehran and major powers that US President Donald Trump abandoned in May, threatening otherwise to stop complying with its terms.
The first wave of US sanctions targeting Iranian exports, the country's financial system and its ability to access the global financial system, took effect at midnight on Tuesday.
A second wave of sanctions to targeting Iran’s energy sector is scheduled for November 4.
The 2015 nuclear deal, also known as the JCPOA, eased sanctions earlier imposed on Iran in exchange for Tehran curtailing its nuclear weapons program.
