Top GOP Senators Back POTUS – Clear Path For Trump to Fire AG Sessions After 2018 Midterm Elections

Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC) both backed President Trump on Thursday and said he deserves an Attorney General he has faith in.

The top key GOP Senators said they will both back President Trump if he fires AG Sessions after the 2018 midterm elections.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) said in an interview with Bloomberg Thursday that he will make time for hearings to confirm a new Attorney General. This is a 180 degree turn from Grassley’s previous statements wherein he had made it clear he wouldn’t confirm a new AG if Trump were to fire Sessions.

Senator Graham told reporters on Thursday President Trump deserves an Attorney General he has faith in, reported Bloomberg.

“The president’s entitled to an attorney general he has faith in, somebody that’s qualified for the job, and I think there will come a time, sooner rather than later, where it will be time to have a new face and a fresh voice at the Department of Justice. Clearly, Attorney General Sessions doesn’t have the confidence of the president.”

The tension between President Trump and AWOL AG Sessions reached a fever pitch on Thursday.

AWOL AG Sessions unloaded on President Trump Thursday afternoon in a rare statement in response to the President’s interview with FOX & Friends host Ainsley Earhardt.

President Trump blasted AWOL Jeff Sessions during an interview with Ainsley Earhardt on FOX and Friends which aired on Thursday Morning.

President Trump: I put in an Attorney General who never took control of the Justice Department. And it’s sort of an incredible thing. We have this country going so well… I wanted to stay un-involved. Jeff Sessions recused himself and should have told me. What kind of man is this? He knows there was no collusion.

President Donald Trump went off on a tirade earlier this month against AWOL Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Just a few days ago, President Trump took another shot at AWOL Attorney General Jeff Sessions, a total disgrace and coward who refuses to do his job and refuses to resign.

Jeff Sessions recused himself the first day on the job citing the wrong law. He has been in the corner of the Justice Department cowering while his Deputy, Rod Rosenstein calls the shots.

Sessions recusal is the reason why Robert Mueller and 17 angry Obama-Hillary donors are hunting down everyone in President Trump’s inner circle.

It is impossible for President Trump to drain the swamp without an Attorney General. Sessions has to go.

Giuliani: "The American People Would Revolt" If Trump Impeached

"I think impeachment would be totally horrible," Giuliani said. "There’s no reason. He didn’t collude with the Russians, he didn’t obstruct justice. Everything [Michael] Cohen says has been disproved. You’d only impeach him for political reasons. And the American people would revolt against that."

On Tuesday, Trump's former longtime attorney and self-described "fixer," Michael Cohen, said that President Trump directed him to pay off two women who claim to have had affairs with Trump over a decade ago. Cohen's attorney, Lanny Davis, says its "absolutely clear that Donald Trump committed a felony" by paying hush money to the women during the run-up to the 2016 US election.

Giuliani, on the other hand, says Trump has been "completely cleared" by Cohen's testimony.

"You have this Cohen guy, he doesn't know anything about Russian collusion, he doesn't know anything about obstruction, he's a massive liar," said Giuliani.

Evidence against Trump includes a tape recording made before the election in which Trump and Cohen discuss payments to the keep the women's stories silent. On Thursday, Giuliani downplayed the significance of the tape, saying "The tape recordings say very clearly that Cohen did it on his own, didn't tell the president until much later."

Meanwhile, Giuliani lashed out at the Department of Justice on Thursday for the intense focus on Trump, while Hillary Clinton's conduct has gone unaddressed - tweeting: "If there is any justice left at DOJ why is payment by Hillary Clinton and DNC to FusionGPS for the phony Steele dossier not under investigation. On your theory in Cohen plea it’s an illegal campaign contribution.Let’s go DOJ wake up. where’s the indictment. Clintons not above law."

Colorado police officers suspended for leaking video of Denver mayor’s son threatening a cop

Two Colorado police officers were given one-day suspensions Wednesday, according to KDVR-TV, for their part in leaking body camera footage showing the Denver mayor’s son threatening a cop in a profanity-laden rant.

Jordan Hancock, the 22-year-old son of Denver Mayor Michael Hancock, was pulled over March 23 for being clocked going 65 mph in a 40 mph zone.

The video from Officer Paul McClendon’s body camera shows the policeman’s exchange with Hancock during the traffic stop.

When McClendon asks why the vehicle is registered to Michael Hancock, Jordan told the cop, “Because that’s my motherf***ing dad.”

Hancock then clarifies, “My dad’s the mayor, you b***h.”

“Mayor of what, Denver?” McClendon asks.

To which Hancock responds, “Yeah, don’t worry about it, b***h.”

McClendon tells Hancock, “Well, you’re in Aurora, bud. He isn’t the mayor of Aurora.”

Hancock then threatens the officer, saying “Yeah, exactly, well guess what, I’m about to get you fired.”

DNC Says Reported “Sophisticated” Hack Attempt Was False Alarm

The DNC contacted the FBI on Tuesday after being alerted by a third party security system that a “sophisticated” attempt to hack its voterbase was under way.

It turns out the “sophisticated” hacking attempt was just a false alarm triggered by an internal security test.

On Thursday morning, the DNC walked back its initial claims they thwarted a hacker–and these bumbling idiots want to run the country.

Axios reported:

After an FBI investigation, it turned out that, according to the DNC’s chief security officer Bob Lord, a third party “not authorized by the DNC or its vendors” set up the site to test Democrats’ resiliency to phishing attacks.

Instead of waiting for analysis on the so-called hacking attempt, the DNC went out and cried to CNN about non-existent hackers, because narrative.

The DNC was supposedly hacked during the 2016 Presidential election, however, then-DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz dragged her feet and didn’t immediately run to the FBI for help.

In fact, the FBI was denied access to the DNC servers so we still have no forensic evidence that the servers were even hacked, and if hacked, by whom?

Donald Trump Jr. mocked the DNC after it turned out to be a false alarm.
