Snopes had FAKE NEWS!!! Whether or not the penis story is true, Snopes placed the penis story in Bloomington, IN which is in Monroe County, IN. However, the only state that Google Maps found a Bloomington in McLean County was Illinois.

There is a real WMBD, which is a CBS-affiliated television station licensed to Peoria, Illinois, United States and serving the North-Central Illinois television market. Peoria is about 40 miles NW of Bloomington, so it probably serves that market.

However, the coroner said the whole event was fake. The Pantagraph is the local newspaper for Bloomington and Normal, IL.
