No. I don't trust a single person to hand anyone a blank check to rewrite the Constitution. Do you think you get to go?
It doesn't matter who you vote to represent you to convene, there are very few people who couldn't be corrupted by a wad of cash, to decide the 2nd amendment is dangerous, or the 1st is outdated. The Constitution is this country's charter- dissolve it, even temporarily to rewrite a new one, and in the interim there is no government except for the states. Now what? You think California is going to agree to the same type of government as Maine and all the states come back under one roof again?
The Constitution works; it is the ONLY reason our country is still saveable, because they could not take over all three branches.
We'll clean out this poison then let it do what it does.
