That's the Catholic religion, not true Christianity.

True Christianity doesn't need the weekly blood sacrifices that they did in the O.T. because Jesus Christ is our ultimate Savior.

The O.T. law showed man how much he needed a Savior because obviously those sacrifices didn't work, so they had to be repeated week after week, or day after day, or month after month.

What a lot of man-made religion does is to ignore what Jesus Christ accomplished for them and continue to live in prior administrations instead of living in the current Grace Administration.

That was not Christianity in the Old Testament. That was the people of Israel to whom the Law was given. Christ had not yet come.

Those who still do that today are just ignoring what Jesus Christ has now accomplished for us.

All those rituals did was to show man how sinful he really is and to show man that he needed a Savior. Because there was nothing that man could do to cleanse himself from sin.
