That verse in Rev 13 is describing an event that takes place AFTER the gathering together of the Church (those that are born again in Christ).
Jesus Christ is coming back TWO more times.
Once to gather the church, then to come back again with the Saints (church, born again ones) to kick butt!
This in Rev 13 is between these two comings of Christ.
I've been working this for a while now.
I'm trying to put a timeline together that is based in biblical accuracy.
The problem is that many verses that seem like "similar" events are made to look (by man made religion) like the "same exact" events. Like they are one in the same.
The key is making the distinction between "the Lords day" and the gathering together (some call "rapture", but that word is not used in the Scriptures). These are two separate and distinct events. One, the gathering together, clearly happening prior to the antichrist being revealed and the other "The Lord's Day" happening after the time of tribulation and wrath.
Also, note that God says in His word multiple times that the Church, the born again ones in Christ, are SAVED from THE Wrath.
Once I get through studying this topic in the word I will put together a timeline and post it here and in the Biblical Study thread.
