Alexis Keller

 

is a professor of Political Sciences at the University of Geneva. He is a former fellow of the Carr Centre for Human Rights Policy at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Wikipedia

He is a of The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)

 

Alexis Keller lives in Geneva Switzerland and is married with four kids. His wife is of Lebanese descent and according to Yossi Beilin in his book the Path to Geneva [3] is partly of Jewish ancestry. Politically, Alexis Keller is involved in the liberal Party.

From 2002 to 2004, Alexis Keller took an active part in the negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians that led to the Geneva Initiative. In April 2003, the Swiss Foreign Minister appointed him as Special Representative for the Middle East peace process, a position he held until January 2004.
