North Carolina student punished after calling teacher 'ma'am'

WASHINGTON (Circa) — A 10 year old from Tarboro, North Carolina, was punished in class for saying "yes ma'am" to his teacher, reports WTVD.

The parents of Tamarion Wilson say the fifth grader came home from school visibly disappointed. He pulled a sheet of paper out of his book bag, covered front and back with the handwritten word "ma'am."

Apparently the teacher asked the student not to call her "ma'am," and when he did so, she had him write the word repeatedly as punishment. He was instructed to take it home and have it signed by his parents. The teacher also said "if she had something, she would have thrown it at him," according to Wilson. The teacher later said she wasn't being serious.

Battle Creek Woman Arrested For Stinking Up Toilet And Closing Down Restaurant

BATTLE CREEK, MI – Police and fire-paramedics were called to a restaurant when it had to close its doors early on Friday evening after a woman spent 45 minutes in the bathroom causing ‘unbearable, inhuman stench’.

The 34-year-old woman kicked open the restaurant doors, shouting “out of the way, I’m prairie-dogging!” and ran through the dining area, which was at capacity.

“We were so crowded, people were waiting up to two hours for a table,” says the hostess. “In comes this crazy woman, already smelling like she dumped in her pants, running towards the bathroom.”

One customer adds, “I couldn’t breathe. I knew she was in there blasting fudge monkeys, but the smell was toxic. I thought I was going to have to take my son to the hospital for sulphur exposure. He was coughing and dry retching all over the place . That woman is some sort of beast, humans are not capable of something so foul.”

The first responding firefighters had to gear up with oxygen tanks thinking there was some sort of gas or chemical leak. “Never in my 30 years on the job have I seen anything so rancid,” states the Fire Chief. “It was dangerous sending my guys in there. These men are heroes.”

The woman was arrested for domestic terrorism and held on $1500 bail.

Sen. John McCain to discontinue brain cancer treatment, family says

"In the year since, John has surpassed expectations for his survival. But the progress of disease and the inexorable advance of age render their verdict," the McCain family said. "With his usual strength of will, he has now chosen to discontinue medical treatment. Our family is immensely grateful for the support and kindness of all his caregivers over the last year, and for the continuing outpouring of concern and affection from John’s many friends and associates, and the many thousands of people who are keeping him in their prayers. God bless and thank you all."
