My theory:

Project Cassandra was created in 2008 to take down Hezbollah-connected international drug running and money laundering operations. I don't believe that they were really after Hezbollah, more like Muslim Brotherhood. Hussein shut it down. Rosenstein was appointed head of a new task force to take out five international gangs including MS13 and Hezbollah.

I think that Imran Awan is somehow connected to this. Not sure who else to finger right now. Thinking Dianne Feinstein but that might be a little out there. The Hezbollah network supposedly reaches into China.

Just started doing the digging but I'm not making quick progress. Anybody have ideas?
