Isaac moved from well to well when the armies were destroying Abraham's wells.
Jacob was shamed by his violent sons
and even feared what they might do to him.
Only when the Israelites BROKE THE COVENANT with God
were they given rituals that involved desecration of animals

God loves his animals like they were his children
Look at the COVENANT with Noah.
God told Noah to let the animals loose to multiply.
What did he then do?
He set about making blood sacrifices.
This is all PAGANISM
and has been very hard to get these rituals to end.
