Reminds me of when that POS Andrew Cuomo decided to rename the Tappan Zee bridge after his father. WTF Andrew, it was already named after someone else.
In 1994, the Tappan Zee Bridge in New York was renamed in Charles Malcolm Wilson’s honor. Wilson was the 50th Governor of New York - also elected Lieutenant Governor of New York on the gubernatorial ticket with Nelson Rockefeller, and when they won, he served as lieutenant governor until succeeding to the governorship after Rockefeller resigned.
