what if, perhaps, the death happened a while ago, but the media was told not to report it until DS had other measures in place and the comms that ordered such actions were intercepted and brought forth to other members of DS involved so as to flip them without DS knowledge? Spitballing, as I have no real clue when no name was last officially legitimately 100% known to be alive and well….too many skills out there with CGI and too many fake ass traitor media outlets to even bother attempting to dig that out with my meager skills….just a thought
