Agree here. The wet start thing has a lot of detractors, some dealing with dry analysis of how the planes were positioned on the flight deck. I wasn't convinced that the wet start thing was accurate after quite a bit of reading around.
More interesting is how McCain left the Enterprise on a (news reporter's?) helicopter (next day?) for some R&R, including a visit to his father in London. It wasn't normal stuff from what I've read.
