The communists and nazis never went anywhere other than underground. They've been subverting every chance they've gotten. IMO, they've come under the umbrella of islamists. Remember, they all may disagree with how to achieve their means to an end, but, it's still the same ends. Think antifa vs. nazis. Same philosophy, just a variation resulting in infighting. Again, same ends, the caveat being the devil in the details.
