I don't know if this is already posted, but Barbara Westgate is a Senior Executive Service(SES) appointee during the Clinton years.

Director, Washington Headquarters Services

Ms. Barbara A. Westgate was appointed on April 18, 2016, as the Director, Washington Headquarters Services, a Department of Defense Field Activity. She manages a vast portfolio of complex and integrated operational services to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Joint Staff, the military departments, Defense agencies, Congress, and the White House. Managing resources of nearly $1.2 billion annually, Ms. Westgate oversees nearly 4,000 civilian, military, and contractor personnel in providing a full range of facilities, security, information technology, communications, human resources, contracting, financial, and other services that support nearly 100,000 Department of Defense (DoD) personnel throughout the National Capital Region.

 

Ms. Westgate entered government service with the Air Force in 1973 and was appointed a member of the Senior Executive Service in 1999. She has served in numerous logistics, financial, and acquisition program management positions within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics; the Headquarters Air Force Material Command; Headquarters U.S. Air Force; and the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition.

 

Before assuming her present position, Ms. Westgate served as Executive Director, Headquarters Air Force Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. In this capacity, she was the first Executive Director and senior civilian responsible for career development of more than 40,000 space and cyberspace professionals. She assisted the commander in organizing, training and equipping mission-ready forces; and acquiring and delivering space and cyberspace capabilities for North American Aerospace Defense Command, U.S. Strategic Command and the other functional and geographic combatant commands with missile warning, positioning, navigation and timing, communications and cyber capabilities.

 

Ms. Westgate has a Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies, summa cum laude, New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, NY and a Master of Science degree in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces (now Eisenhower School), Fort Lesley J. McNair, Washington, D.C.
