Image on top of the crown look familiar to GV pendants? Same on the Popes chest. This symbol has been used for centuries.

 

2014 marks the 300th anniversary of the Hanoverian succession to the British throne. The 18th and 19th centuries were periods where German and British royal families were closely related with many marriages bringing the two countries closely together. Germany boasts a myriad of outstandingly sumptuous palaces, often connected with British royalty and Hanover is leading the events to celebrate the special Royal relationship between our two countries for this significant tercentenary.
