That's what I'm thinking too. The swastika was originally a symbol associated with southeast Asia and Hinduism/Buddhism. WWII and its use by Nazi Germany seems to have bastardized it, which (((they))) have only reinforced into our skulls for decades after.
Makes me wonder about the hammer-and-sickle too. Did they ever have a positive connotation in history that many are unaware of?
