What if China had a username on the clintonemail.com mail server? That would be access.
In this way, HRC could simply forward messages to that account and, using IMAP, instantly appear to a user in PRC.
The way to prove this is to have access to the server and see the access logs. Another way to start testing this is to examine all findable usernames @clintonemail.com (I think that's the domain name.)
Of course, the NSA would have all of the data as it would be going over the 'net to the PRC and this would, hopefully, be discovered in the traffic analysis.
It would be fast and convenient to set up.
(and yes, SMTP/POP3 could also be used.)
