Q was being indirect when he answered that older post with the chair stuff. Many of us thought that meant that the Pope serves a higher person. That never made sense to me because the Pope can't, he's literally the highest office by definition.
Europe was build from the ashes of the Roman Empire, but the authority of Rome has literally never ended. It was cleverly passed to the Pontifex Maximus, and all royalty in Europe bowed before him. That actually means the Roman Empire literally still exists.
When the French Revolution happened, the killed their king and massacred nuns, monks and set out to purge anything catholic.
Did the Pope hide the king's son away and plan to one day restore that ancient throne in France?

Rome is the hand. All roads lead to Rome. What Reich was Hitler building? The third? First was Rome itself, second was Holy Roman Empire, and the third would be a united European empire.
Facism is a Roman concept. Socialism came from Plato's Republic, and the Romans also called themselves a Republic until Ceaser. The end game is to fully restore the ancient empire, whether its by fascism or communism they don't care! When they're done they'll simply reinstall the monarchies and democratic republics will again be a treasonous crime.
