How about you reading other things than those that confirm your bias?
How about simply practicing logic? If the powers-that-be in the Judea at the time of Christ could demonstrate that Jesus was not crucified but snuck off to France with a wife would they have? If would not have been hard to do so if he did.
The New Testament is the best sourced book of antiquity demonstrably written in the lifetimes of those who were contemporaries of Jesus.
