In March, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced he would not be appointing a second special counsel to investigate crimes committed by Obama’s FBI and DOJ.

Rather, AG Sessions revealed U.S. Attorney John Huber will be the ‘top federal prosecutor’ who will be investigating FISA abuses.

Five months into John Huber’s FISA abuse investigation and he still has not interviewed twice-demoted DOJ official Bruce Ohr.

Ohr is a key player in the FISA abuse scandal, so why hasn’t he been interviewed by Huber or Mueller??

Bruce Ohr was acting as a backchannel for dossier author Christopher Steele after the FBI terminated him in November of 2016 for breaking protocol by leaking to the media.

“More of a reason to wonder how effective a US Attorney [John Huber] can be cleaning up corruption in Washington when he’s based in Salt Lake City,” investigative reporter, Paul Sperry said.

Investigative reporter John Solomon also revealed Tuesday that Robert Mueller hasn’t interviewed Bruce Ohr either.

Bruce Ohr arrived at Capitol Hill Tuesday morning for a closed-door grilling from House Oversight and House Judiciary members over his contacts with dossier author Christopher Steele.

GOP lawmakers said Tuesday afternoon that Bruce Ohr was being cooperative and answering questions at the closed-door deposition.

Bruce Ohr, former FBI lawyer Lisa Page and Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson may be called back to testify together to iron out the discrepancies in their testimonies.

FBI Kept Using False Evidence to Spy on Trump After 2016 Election

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) said Tuesday that senior FBI officials knew they were using false evidence to justify their surveillance of President Donald Trump during and after the 2016 election campaign.

“That’s an area in which, basically, a fake dossier turns into real evidence and is used to spy on candidate Trump and then president-elect Trump,” Issa told a crowd of reporters outside a closed joint hearing of the House Judiciary Committee and the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

“I think that is what we’re learning, that well into the president-elect Trump period, they were continuing to use false evidence to maintain surveillance, effectively on President Trump,” Issa said before returning to the hearing.

He was referring to the infamous Steele dossier used by DOJ and the FBI to obtain approval from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court to spy on Trump campaign aide Carter Page.

The DOJ inspector general said in a report released in June that Comey departed dramatically from normal procedures. Comey told Congress the dossier was based on “salacious and unverified” information.

“We are aware of that,” Issa said. “I think what’s noteworthy to come out of this — that you need to be aware of — is that Comey knew in December that the dossier was not verifiable and yet used it as if it was real evidence to maintain, not once, but multiple times, the eavesdropping or spying on the president.” – READ MORE

An FBI special agent told Congress earlier in August that the bureau has used leaked news stories as justifications to obtain surveillance warrants against American citizens, a source familiar with the testimony tells The Daily Caller News Foundation.

During a closed-door interview with the House Judiciary and House Oversight Committees on Friday, Special Agent Jonathan Moffa told congressional investigators that the FBI and Justice Department have leaked stories to the press and then used them to obtain warrants under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

On Tuesday morning, President Trump lashed out at Google, with his remarks later broadening to include Twitter and Facebook, accusing it of "rigging" search results by presenting only results "from National Left-Wing Media" and accused "Google & others are suppressing voices of Conservatives and hiding information and news that is good."

Those companies "better be careful because you can’t do that to people," Trump said later in the Oval Office. "I think that Google, and Twitter and Facebook, they are really treading on very, very troubled territory and they have to be careful. It is not fair to large portions of the population.”

Google immediately responded, condemning Trump's charge, and claiming that "Search is not used to set a political agenda and we don’t bias our results toward any political ideology."

And yet, as so often happens, in Trump's crude delivery, the politically incorrect truth was once again found.

According to a memo posted on Facebook's internal message board titled "We Have a Problem With Political Diversity", and which was published by the New York Times, senior Facebook engineer Brian Amerige confirmed Trump's allegation writing that "we are a political monoculture that’s intolerant of different views" and shockingly admitted that "we claim to welcome all perspectives, but are quick to attack — often in mobs — anyone who presents a view that appears to be in opposition to left-leaning ideology. We throw labels that end in obe and ist at each other, attacking each other’s character rather than their ideas."

The scathing indictment of Facebook's liberal "mono-culture" continues:

We do this so consistently that employees are afraid to say anything when they disagree with what’s around them politically.​ HR has told me that this is not a rare concern, and I’ve personally gotten over a hundred messages to that effect. Your colleagues are afraid because they know that they — not their ideas — will be attacked. They know that all the talk of “openness to different perspectives” does not apply to causes of “social justice,” immigration, “diversity”, and “equality.” On this issues, you can either keep quiet or sacrifice your reputation and career.

"These are not fears without cause" Amerige writes, and continues the stunning disclosure of the company's biased culture, "Because we tear down posters welcoming Trump supporters. We’re quick to suggest firing people who turn out to be misunderstood, and even quicker to conclude our colleagues are bigots. We have made “All Lives Matter” a fireable offense. We put Palmer Luckey through a witch hunt because he paid for anti-Hillary ads. We write each other ad-hoc feedback in the PSC tool for having “offensive” ideas. We ask HR to investigate those who dare to criticize Islam’s human rights record for creating a “non inclusive environment.” And they called me a transphobe when I called out our corporate art for being politically radical.

Texas - Feds Raids Trailer Company Employing 160 Undocumented Workers

More than 300 federal agents raided a North Texas trailer-manufacturer on Tuesday that is accused hiring 160 undocumented workers despite being aware that they’re illegals.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents surprised the company with a criminal search warrant just before lunch at Load Trail located between Bonham and Paris, around two hours northeast of Dallas.

It was a massive operation with agents coming all over from New Orleans, Houston and San Antonio. Some arrived in land-based vehicles, others even employed helicopters to bring them to Load Trail Trailer’s 100-acre facility in Sumner, Texas.

Katrina Berger, Homeland Security Special-Agent-in-Charge of Investigations said the agents detained 160 undocumented workers as part of their larger probe, although they did not make any criminal arrests.

Berger said Load Trail Trailers is regarded as one of the “fastest growing trailer brands." The company builds trailers for pick-ups, not 18-wheelers. A company insider said it’s nothing but “greed” that motivated Load Trail to hire illegals. Business was doing so that they had a backlog of orders which required additional workers.

The company started as a family-owned business in 1996 has grown, now employing more than 500 people. The shop also includes more than 420,000 square feet of facilities. It even gained the award for the “Fastest Growing Trailer Brand of the Year” in 2014 and 2015.

Former employees say the company makes from 75 to 100 trailers each day and has grown to earnings of more than $120 million annually.

A staff spoke to local media on the condition of anonymity. She told the local media: “I knew these were clearly illegals. This is not the way we are supposed to be hiring. They told me to keep doing my job. That if they were visited by ICE again, they would simply pay the fine and go on.”

It’s the second time in only four years that Load Trail Trailers has faced federal immigration investigation. In 2014, Load Trail paid a $444,993 fine for “knowingly hiring and continuing to employ unauthorized workers.” Federal reports also said the company employed 179 unauthorized workers at that time.

Berger said companies sometimes defy immigration law to attempt to gain an unfair advantage over competitors. Berger explained the implications of such illegal actions. She said:"Businesses that knowingly hire illegal aliens create an unfair advantage over their competing businesses. In addition, they take jobs away from U.S. citizens and legal residents, and they create an atmosphere poised for exploiting their illegal workforce.”

Berger said that some companies may have gotten away with it for some time but that they’re watching, and more importantly, “we’re coming.”

The undocumented workers from Load Trail are not off the hook yet as criminal arrests could still happen in the coming weeks as the probe progresses.

ICE established a 24-hour toll-free detainee locator hotline at 1-888-351-4024. The undocumented immigrants are being held at three detention centers – two in the Metroplex and one in Oklahoma.

Calif. Democratic candidate for governor promises single payer for all legal and illegal residents

California Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, who is running for governor, said in an interview posted on Tuesday that if he wins his election in November (which is likely), he plans to bring single-payer health care to everyone in his state, regardless of their immigration status.

Who is Gavin Newsom?

Before becoming the state’s lieutenant governor, Newsom was the mayor of San Francisco. As mayor, he instituted single-payer health care for the city. Under his watch, the city’s homeless population nearly doubled, increasing from 7,000 to 12,000, a topic that was also discussed during the interview.

Newsom argued in a separate interview Tuesday that the city’s homeless problem couldn’t be solved by the local government, because much of the homeless population came from outside the city or even outside the state.

Newsom, a Democrat, is running against Republican John Cox in the race for California governor. The two will face off in the Nov. 6 general election.

What did he say?

During Tuesday’s episode of the “Pod Save America,” Newsom was asked if he planned to revive a single-payer health care bill that had died in the state Assembly. Newsom confirmed that he did and that the governor would have to lead such a measure.

“Obamacare would not have happened if it was just exclusively a legislative fiat,” he argued. “The only way that a state whose population is larger than 163 nations — California’s economy is larger than all but four nations, the fifth largest economy — to approximate a strategy for universal health care is with the support, concurrence of the governor.”

Newsom said that once the new system was in place, health care costs would not be unmanageably high.

“The mistake we make is that we allow lazily a CBO [Congressional Budget Office] report to come out, and somehow suggest that we’re going to build on top of an existing system, when in fact we’re replacing the existing system with a completely new system,” he said.

Newsom also insisted that it was “the transition that’s the challenge. It’s going from something old to something new where the whitewater is. And that’s going to be the struggle for those that are promoting it on a federal level, those that promote it at a state level, and that’s where the nuance and the detail lie.”

A state financial analysis determined that remaking the state’s health insurance market would cost California taxpayers $400 billion. An additional $200 billion would be needed to create a single-payer system. The state’s entire annual proposed budget for 2017 at the time the analysis was completed was only $180 billion.
