I stopped there as well and looked around. I am trying to see above the Payseurs, but coming up empty so far. Stillllll digging.
I have to go back and dig some more, but from what I can tell, it all leads back to the Middle East and a form of Judaism - or actually a form of Satanism sort of disguised as Judaism. It's going to be a deep winding hole, I think. And it keeps going beyond that.
