So i have this nagging cluster of questions.

My main question though, is this: How much has Dianne Feinstein's family profitted from this?

I ask because we, my family & I, did homestay student exchanges for years. Ours is a huge family by today's standards. All over europe and asia.

China blessed my kids HUGELY! Let me explain. before i do, i'll say this… China rewards China's friends and helpers and there families. So, by way of explanation: student exchange trip to china which included several of my kids. Standard see China in three weeks or less sort of thing from various Chinese schools and their respective cities. Beijing was special. You remember the Ball brothers. The tourist mecca they got caught shopping at? :) Well that same place is where this story takes place at. I'll go one further and say that that day in Beijing, this happened in every store one of my several kids entered… After being in store for a moment or two, a Chinese official would enter the store and anounce that everything in that store was now priced at 10% of the marked price. According to my kids, in each case, the shop keeper made no complaints and actually seemed happy to have an on the spot 90% off sale. I will say this, my kids came home with knick knacks galore. From tapestries to scrolls and more.

Back to my main question then, How much has Dianne Feinstein's family profitted from this?

i'd dig myself, but alas, i'm not american and as part of my firewall, every bit of the american gov is blocked along with all of asia including china. And yes I had to pop a hole in the firewall for each and every asian student we hosted. just so they could call home via this chat or that chat or this web site or that web site… tedious but worth it.
