Just a thought…
One thing that needs to be "BURIED" to save the REPUBLIC would be the "hatchet". The Republic can NOT survive without "UNITY"
The dog is getting his day, but that doesn't mean it can't be revisited later, after the rest of the plan is over. Maybe that hatchet can be buried shallowly, until all other butthurt dies down.
