True story - my youngest son and I toured Ripon College in the spring of 2017. The kid doing the tour pointed out a statue of Lincoln to the group and said to "This is the birthplace of the Republican party which was established to fight slavery, which is ironic because it's now the party that's for slavery."
We ended the tour right then and there, and I wrote a letter to the president of the college.
