Would encourage you to consider the concept of "Future Shock" and how something similar would be invoked in the case of a sudden public unveiling of the info of which you noted (which i don't disagree with necessarily).
tl;dr - The method that you describe would have the exact opposite effect of which you state you intend.
Would suggest that a much more effective way to dismantle a rotten house with a solid foundation is to strip it piece by piece so that the foundation is preserved without irreversible damage to its structure.
Obviously, this takes time & thus patience & perservence. But anyone who is an "autist" can understand that a solid foundation can last over many many generations, so devoting one to proper rehabilitation is well worth it.
