Far too often in this country, we hide the truth of people who have done this, that or another. Especially those who have served in the military. Hiding the truth does not do anyone any favors. Death is death; we all face it. For as long as I've lived, I've found people hide the truth for many reasons. One, which seems to be the case in this situation, is when media outlets and others, vilified an individual to the point of even questioning his eligibility to be president for having been born in Panama, no acts as though this man was the best thing since a dagwood sandwich at midnight, just to make some statement at another whom they hate even worse. That being because the now dead man retaliated against the man who questioned his service. There's a funny little thing about the truth: it reveals motives and the condition of the heart.
Trump does not kowtow to no one. We haven't seen that strength in quite some time. He did as instructed by the code, and Trump knew very well there would be backlash. Had he left it up, had he written a proclamation prior to lowering, the media would have been all over him for pandering. Trump has an uncanny way of exposing people for who they are. People are fickle. And he knows this. The left will turn on a dime to save their own ass. But know, Trump has the left chasing their own tale (tail).
With regard to the Senator who recently kicked the bucket, he's not popular among many veterans, especial POWs. Why is that? Why hasn't the media mentioned anything about this truth? The Senator who recently kicked the bucket voting record for veterans was poor. Very poor. I have no respect for the man who stood on the backs of fellow service members to elevate himself. Only to be elevated even higher (under false pretenses) by the media (who once hated him) and the Democrats (who also hated him).
The following video exposes the Senator who recently kicked the bucket and his efforts to keep information from Vietnam vets and POWs.
