Anons… im a navy veteran anon please bear with me a few… this may be connected with no name and his wish for more pow’s to not be returned…idk…

In 1989 myself and a friend decided to walk , yes walk to washing dc from Norfolk VA for the cancer society… I did the walk, she was my pacer… took me a week plus, but did it.. upon arrival, no one from the cancer soc. Was there to meet us, and they had no intention to. Who we did meet was a group of former POW’s who have a booth at the Vietnam nam memorial Wall… we spent the next 4 days hanging there near them and talking with a group from the freedom now foundation, who’s goal was to find and bring home more from nam. While there… I was presented with several documents and papers… docs showing that two motorcycle companies here in the USA were actually supplying money for arms to those we fought. The other set of papers were sightings with coordinates and other info on POWs still in name. Names ect, who reported seeing them ect… they asked if I wrote a book about it to disclose the info so they could be brought home. Union my return home… I was there 1 hour… didn’t even unpack when I received a knock at door and NIS took me to NOB base for questioning, along with my luggage. I was questioned for 6 hours! When they let me go my luggage was returned without the docs and papers… and was Strongly Suggested to stay clear of DC and that group for a while…. ( I had been out of the navy for 12 years at this point) ( side note: I haven’t been back to dc since) …

Wife of ESPN's Chris Berman was intoxicated at time of fatal crash: report

The wife of longtime ESPN broadcaster Chris Berman had a blood-alcohol level three times the legal limit when she rear-ended another man's car, killing them both, according to a Connecticut state police report released Thursday.

Police determined that Katherine Berman, 67, was speeding and did not apply her brakes before crashing into a car driven by 87-year-old Edward Bertulis, the Hartford Courant reported.

Berman died from blunt force trauma and drowning, officials said. According to the state police, Berman’s Lexus went off the road after the crash and flipped over in a small body of water.

The deaths along Sherman Hill Road in Woodbury were ruled an accident. State police closed the investigation without filing any charges because both drivers died, the report said.
