Redding is close to a very active seismic/volcano zone. Some have speculated that the fires there were started by an open fissure. Unless someone has evidence to the contrary, I'm going with that.
But the recent uptick in earthquakes is only getting worse so far. I'm getting kinda nervous about staying in CA much longer.
They might be able to instigate SOME, but Mother Nature has been busy lately, too. Even so, the country is now getting earthquakes where they might not have otherwise due to various drilling operations. The plate is getting to look like Swiss cheese, one could say.
I can think of at least a few ways votes can be rigged in L.A. County. I'll be curious to see the changes.
