At the heart of this Us vs them / dems vs repubs / qtards vs pedos is the very nature of our Constitution, ostensibly the independent judiciary's right to perform its due diligence unchecked by the Executive branch. As it should be in our Democracy, the balance of power between these two opposing branches lies in Congress. The judicial branch must do its job and interpret the law as it is written; not create it. Under the cover of an investigation of a duly elected president based seemingly on nothing but misinformation, the judiciary is refusing to provide to the public disclosure documentation on countless legal matters involving highly public government officials, both former and current. However, as the law as it is written is open to interpretation on the appropriate nature of the release of such info; thus it is up to Congress to revise the law as permitted by the constitution to grant the authority of the president to have the power to release FISC documents to the public when necessary for matters of National Security.
