Let's not be too disappointed about No Name 'getting away'. I don't believe that he got away. He was an extremely bitter, vengeful, and vainglorious dude. It must have crushed him completely to admit defeat in his old age before he was forced out of the senate. Imagine all the stuff he had to confess to the White Hats as a condition of not being publicly exposed and disgraced. Now what will the White Hats do with all that info?

So, in a way, I No Name is a hero of sorts since he ended up helping with the takedown of the evil empire of which he was one the staunchest members.

The optics of such over-the-top burial ceremonies lose their dramatic effect if they begin to happen too often. People will simply get tired of them and stop paying attention. They can give extravagant honorific funerals to every nasty old cabal shithead who croaks, but no one will care.
