Not if it was a slow death by cancer with many months in hospice or weeks in palliative. The crying is done by the time you get to the funeral. It’s more of a relief really, that your loved one’s suffering, which you witness first hand, is over.

You should volunteer at a hospice or palliative, grow some empathy maybe.

Hair loss? Depends on the type of treatment… and/or when treatment was stopped or not.

Chemo is very hard on the body.. many choose to stop when it’s a no win cancer and live their last year without the medical nausea.
