At this point one has to wonder why any rational, caring American shows pride or enthusiasm for being a Democrat in the United States. Some may be (intentionally?) ignorant of what the left stands for today and believe they are supporting old Democratic goals–the goals being fulfilled by Republicans today. Some may be corrupt or compromised. Some want to overthrow the US government and replace it with a worse government based on failed Socialist and Communist models. Any rationale you can think of for decent, caring, honest people being in the Democratic party in 2018?
