Genesis is the foundation of the west, arguably alongside greek/roman philosophy/literature.

Of course Genesis is true, but even if it were not true, it still gave rise to western civilization and western science, and for that reason alone you should shut up or go back to a globohomo forum
idiot, "in the year of our Lord" is not a phrase made up by the declaration of independence

I agree. Too many anons are of the devil's party without knowing it

It's verified, indisputable truth that science is the child of Christian civilization; its foundations were laid by people who believed that Genesis is true. IF that is "unstable ground" for a foundation, it means that your whole weltanschauung is about to collapse. And in fact already has: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Replication_crisis
i know that wanting to make America great again can't coexist with wanting to mock its Christian foundations, so on that front I'm definitely not of the devil's party, i.e. leftism
My God, "in the year of our Lord" is used in a trillion other documents, including nearly every presidential missive, well into the 20th c. Probably Obama's executive orders have "in the year of our Lord" in them. But even if not, you will find "in the year of our Lord" not only in the declaration of independence but in every major written political document for the last 1500 years in Europe. Putting it in a presidential order or whatever is by no stretch of the imagination a reference to the declaration of independence.
The fact that wikipedia has an article about "the replication crisis" shows that enough people have been talking about it that anyone who wants to critique the Bible on the basis of "science" should know what it is. Scientists are having difficulty replicating one another's outcomes. This is a problem for crypto-leftists who want to appeal to "science" as a universal standard of truth and mock the Christian foundations of this once-great country.
