My thought was where he was always made out to be a hero it would be hard to discredit that so he was given the option kill him self or be brought out into the light and hes dying anyways right yes jes getting a heros funeral but think of how much more we are getting him no longer around plus the added bonus of having all of these people in one place hes almost like a trojen horse when you think about it
