We really do have miles of cut out land that was all once vast forest and cannot be repurposed. Nature is taking over kind of but all that can grow if mostly birch trees in the silt. The ‘strippens’ run through entire counties
Because of the hundreds of years of mining we have a lot of conservationists, which was the reason for my original question. I trust the plan but I want to contribute my part and knowing how to talk to these people is something I struggle with. Just lookin for some help frens

I feel for you but don’t worry! My SO was liberal AF, facts are facts and she’ll come around. One bit of advice I can give is work with what she likes, look through the great awakening map and see if there’s anything that may interest her and start real slow. As hard as it will be because of how immensely awesome he is avoid talking about POTUS
